Projects > Time and Tension

Must of us experience tension constantly - it holds us upright as humans. Our tendons and muscles constantly perform a delicate dance between tightness and slackness in order for us to function.

And all of this happens against gravity.
In spite of gravity.
Our bodies fight all day long to move through the world - although we rarely see this with the naked eye.

My work is a direct illustration of tension. An attempt to give gravity a run for its money.

(unfortunately gravity usually wins)
