Never Not Nature
With this work, I am proposing a new kind of nature - one that encompasses all the complexities and disappointments of the landscapes we live in, take from, honor, and alter. As humans, especially those with access and privilege, we have pushed nature to a breaking point. She is responding and adapting in ways that feel from ugly, through an increase in non-native plant species, to violent, with the unpredictable weather events we’ve all been experiencing.
