Mother Tree explores the lifecycle of trees from branch to post to dimensional lumber and cardboard. This work asks us to consider the immense energy and miracle that is a tree making it to maturity. The spinning, colorful lights that emit from the top of the sculpture remind us to look up and to celebrate the wonder that resides in our forests and our neighborhoods.
