This work is forcing "nature", both real and artificial, to perform for us. Motion sensors start the lab equipment spinning and shaking as the viewer walks by. Both time and movement cause the live plants to lose their needles and leaves on the floor below. These kinetic sculptures are questioning our expectations around what nature should and can do for us in a climate that we, through our human behavior, have inexorably changed.
